In our extended, one-week curriculum, the R6 Distilling School takes your experience, understanding, and ability to execute to the next level. We provide numerous hands-on opportunities to prospective and experienced distillers and/or brewers – from milling to distilling/brewing. We operate a 2,000 liter Kothe hybrid (pot and column) still, which capably produces a spectrum of spirits, from whiskey to vodka. We also have onsite a 15 barrel (BBL) brewhouse, which yields a variety of flavorful and well-received craft suds.
Every libation we sell – we make or package in house, under one roof; and we will share that experience and know-how with you. This is an eclectic and private workshop (you or you and a friend/partner/spouse).
Together we’ll dive into the numerous intricacies of business plans, startup funding, government agencies, branding and packaging, insurance considerations, equipment needs, pitfalls to avoid, the process of brewing / distilling, sensory analysis, and much more.
Speakers include our Head Distiller, as well as other in-house experts.
